Jonette A. Taylor, 32, of Belvidere, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in O. S. F. St. Anthony Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was born on November 10, 1979 in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of LeRoy and Nancy (Schmidt) Holtz. Jonette is a graduate of Belvidere High School, class of 1998 and attended Rock Valley College. She was employed as a receptionist for Dr. William Georgis, MD for five years. Jonette is was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church were she was active in the Youth program at the church. She is survived by her husband Shaun; her two children, Jillian M. (age 8) and Aaron R. (age 5) all of Belvidere; mother, Nancy Schmidt, father, LeRoy (Virginia) Holtz, both of Belvidere; brother, Derek (Jamie) Holtz, of Rockford; a niece and a nephew; her in-laws, Brad and Cindy Taylor, and maternal grandfather, David Schmidt. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Audrey Schmidt and maternal great-grandparents. Funeral InformationFuneral service 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2012 in Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Allan Buss, pastor, officiating. Burial in Highland Garden of Memories.
