Mrs. Denise L. Moncue

April 22, 1957 - July 26, 2010

Denise Lor Moncue, 53 of Kingston, Illinois went to her heavenly home on Monday, July 26th, 2010 in her home, after a hard battle to cancer. She was born April 22nd, 1957 in Elgin, Illinois to Richard and Delora Helin. Denise was united in marriage to Raymond Moncue on August 28th, 1974 in Geneva, Illinois. She was employed at Walcamp Outdoor Ministries where she enjoyed spending time with her co-workers and young campers. Denise was an avid animal lover, and spent many hours each day caring for them. She loved painting, drawing, writing poems and spending time with her grandchildren. Her greatest pride and joy were her family, to whom she was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and wife. The love that she instilled in them will carry on. She will be remembered dearly by husband, Ray of Kingston; son, David (Amy) Moncue of Roscoe, daughters, Desiree Moncue of Dundee and Deirdra Moncue of Genoa; grandchildren, Casey Moncue and Riley Moncue of Roscoe and Joey O’Donnel of Sycamore; father, Richard Helin of Dundee; sisters and brothers, Davene (Chuck) Carter of Sycamore, Daryl (Mary) Helin of Dundee, Dale Helin of Oxnard, California, Dawn (Warren) Swenson of Capron and Darcy Helin Brinkman of Dundee, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother, Delores Helin.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 29th, at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, Illinois. Services will be held Friday, July 30th, 2 p.m. at Blaine United Methodist Church, 7200 Blaine Rd., Poplar Grove, Illinois. Pastor Frick of Trinity Lutheran Church of Genoa will be officiating. Interment will be in Blaine Cemetery, Poplar Grove, Illinois.
