Mary Lou Rumohr, 79, of Belvidere, IL and formerly of Marengo and LaGrange, IL died Monday, May 1, 2012 in SwedishAmerican Hospital, Rockford, Il after a lingering illness. Mary Lou was born July 16, 1932 in LaGrange, IL the daughter of Walter and Mary (Frank) Orton. Prior to her retirement she worked as an administrator for the unemployment office. Mary Lou was raised in the Episcopal Church. She is survived by her children Sharon (Wayne) Ross of California, Michael Rumohr of Belvidere, Dona Stewart of Belvidere, Lori Finestein of Arkansas and Susan Lawinger of Maryland; brothers and sisters Walter Orton, Nancy Kaegebien, June Young, Judy Johnson, Linda Sedivy; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cousins. Mary Lou is predeceased by her parents and son Thomas Rumohr. Funeral InformationGraveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 8, 2012 in Woodlawn Cemetery, 7750 W.
