Sandra K. (Arthur) Scherer, 37 of Belvidere died February 25, 2010 in rural Roscoe from injuries received in an automobile accident. Sandra was born July 11, 1972 in Belvidere the daughter of Lowell T. and Norma (Abbott) Arthur. She graduated from Belvidere High School and was employed at Wal-Mart in Rockford at Alpine and Riverside. Sandra loved her children. She is loved and will be missed by her children, Tori, Jordin and Devin Scherer; sister, LTC Linda (Engin) Sahin; brothers, Henry (Debra) Arthur and Bruce (Sue) Arthur; nephews, Allen Arthur, Joshua (Fiancée Stephanie) Arthur; niece, Kayla Arthur. Sandra is predeceased by her parents.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere with Rev. Dudley Matties, pastor of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to service time on Wednesday.
