Larry E. Mitchell, 61, of Woodstock, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in Crossroads Care Center, Woodstock, IL. Born August 5, 1950 in Belvidere, son of Carl and Eunice (Sandman) Mitchell. Graduated from Belvidere High School in 1968. Worked for Silgan Plastics of Woodstock, was a member of the Woodstock Moose Club and an avid White Sox fan.
Survivors include his sister Donna Green, nephews Scott (Zoraya) Green, Ryan (Creshina) Green, 2 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces, all of Rockford. Predeceased by his parents.

Graveside service 11 AM, Monday, January 30, 2012 in Belvidere Cemetery with Pastor Emeritus Eugene Wille officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere.
