Courtney Lynn Gallano-Pearson age 18, of Belvidere, IL died Tuesday, August 2, 2005 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Courtney was born July 19, 1987 in Rockford, Illinois the daughter of Scott Pearson and Stephanie Gallano. She graduated from Belvidere High School with the class of 2005 and was currently working at Gallano Trucking. Courtney attended Immanuel Lutheran Church and Garden Prairie United Church of Christ with her family. She enjoyed four-wheeling, computers, hanging out with her friends and going to the Boone County Fair. Courtney was a former member of the Boone County-Belvidere Explorer Post 2009. Survivors include her parents, Scott Pearson of Belvidere and Stephanie (Rob) Osterberg of Garden Prairie; sister, Teagan Toft of Belvidere; brothers Cole and Brandon Osterberg all of Garden Prairie; grandparents, Clint and Margaret Pearson of Belvidere, Steve and Mary Gallano of Belvidere, Jim and Marilyn Osterberg of Garden Prairie; great-grandparents, Phyllis Gallano of Belvidere, Bill and Shirley Eckhardt of Belvidere and Helen (George Barton) Pearson of Belvidere, Grace Fowler of Herbert; aunts and uncles, David (Amy Adee) Gallano, Brian (Lisa Minakes) Gallano, Julie (Chuck) Normand, Kim (Kevin) Friend, Dawn (Casey) Mattson, Ryan (Sarah) Osterberg; cousins, Jerald Barrett, Stephen Gallano-Glass, Kyria Gallano, Chase Normand, Kristopher and Korbin Friend, Justin and Trevor Mattson, Grant Osterberg and Shayna Korst; and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. Courtney is preceded in death by her Great-grandparents, Bud Gallano, Ken and Shirley Osterberg, Walter Fowler, Mary and Edward Martin and John Pearson, and godfather Eddy Anderson. Funeral InformationFuneral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 6, 2005 in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1225 E. 2nd Street at Genoa Road, with Rev. Allan Buss officiating. Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday at the church.
