Poplar Grove, IL Patrick L. Way, 50, of Poplar Grove, IL died Friday, May 18, 2012 in Swedish American Hospital, Rockford, IL from Bile Duct Cancer. Patrick was born October 13, 1961 in Charleston, IL the son of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Way and was a 30 year resident of northern Illinois coming from Charleston, IL. He married Kerrie Deneen in Las Vegas, NV on October 31, 1997. Patrick was employed as a Contract Specialist by Hamilton Sundstrand for 27 years. He was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church and a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a BS in Finance/Accounting in May 1985. Patrick is loved and will be missed by his wife, Kerrie of Poplar Grove, IL; daughters Tasha Blouin of West Palm Beach, FL and Victoria Way of Belvidere, IL; stepdaughter Courtney Taylor and stepson Gavin Taylor both of Poplar Grove; mother Priscilla McGregor of Venice, FL; mother in-law Carol Deneen of Woodstock, IL; brothers Cary, Robert and Steve Way; sisters in-law Tracy Cubert and Debbie Dechant both of Woodstock, IL Funeral InformationMemorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in Poplar Grove United Methodist Church, 105 E. Grove Street, Poplar Grove, IL with Rev. Paul Nolden, pastor officiating. Memorial gathering will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
