Bill E. Redman, 69, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully, Tuesday morning, December 27, 2011 in his home after a short illness. Bill was born January 17, 1942 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the son of Eldon F. and Ruthteen (Allen) Redman. Bill married Virginia Pile in Belvidere, IL, she predeceased him in April of 1991. He was a 30 year employee of the Chrysler Corporation retiring on January 3, 1997. Bill enjoyed time with his friends and caring for his kittens, “Baby” and “Kooky”.

Bill is loved and will be missed by his son, Dennis (Brenda) Severson of Rockford; daughter, Lexann (Henry) Maynes of Deming, N.M; grandchildren, Timothy (Alicia) Horner, Marla Strobach, Renee Horner, Devin Severson; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Horner, Alexus Horner, Damien Horner, Timothy Horner, Jr., Mason Morton, Chianti Brown. Bill is predeceased by his parents and wife.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 2, 2012 in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL with Rev. Eugene Wille, Pastor Emeritus of Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.
