Michael S. Coppernoll, 49, of Belvidere died, Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the home of his special love, surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born June 21, 1960 the son of James and Coralyn (Dunbar) Coppernoll. He graduated from Guilford High School class of 1978 and worked for Boone County Auto Body in Belvidere. Mike was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer.

He is loved and will be missed by his daughter, Jamie Coppernoll of Belvidere; parents, James and Coralyn of Cherry Valley; brothers, Alan (Sandy) Coppernoll of Rockford, Dale (Michele) Coppernoll of Stillman Valley; sister, Judy (Craig) Marander of So. Beloit, IL; nephews, Brandon, Joshua, Caleb, Nathan, Zackary, Noah and Levi; step-daughter, Salina Rath and Special Love Terri Stelma and her four children. Mike is predeceased by his grandparents.

Funeral Information

To honor Mike, the family has asked that you wear bright colors or “camo” clothing for his memorial service which will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2010 in Cherry Valley United Methodist Church, 112 S. Cherry St. Memorial gathering will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
