Mr. Brian L. "Bear" Emanuel

Brian Lee “Bear” Emanuel, 28, of Belvidere, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 12, 2010 in Joliet, Illinois. He was born September 2, 1981 in Rockford, Illinois the son of Myra R. Emanuel. He attended Belvidere Schools. “Bear” enjoyed sports and was an avid skateboarder. He was a “Jack of All Trades” working for various companies in the area. “Bear” was a member of Belvidere Fellowship. He is survived by his Ma, Myra (fiancé, Ken Linder) Emanuel, Belvidere; “Little Brother” “Sonny”; Maternal Grandma, Carol Emanuel, Belvidere; Close Friend, Marge Hindert, Belvidere, and a host of other uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandpa, Elmer Emanuel and his Aunt, Sunny Emanuel . “Bear” will be missed by all. You are free now, spread your wings and fly. Rest in Peace, We love you Brian.

Funeral Information

Celebration of his life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2010 in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home 218 W. Hurlbut Av. with Pastor Jon Critchfield, officiating. Cremation to take place following the service. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to time of service Monday.
