Richard L. Horner, 73, of Dixon, died Monday, January 23, 2012 in Swedish American Hospital, Belvidere. Born July 17, 1938 in Freeport, son of LaVarne and Lorraine (Hopkins) Horner. Was employed as a truck driver and a construction worker. Survivors include his 4 daughters Lee (Dennis) Hammond, Jacci (Michael) Dean, Shelley Horner and Jan Hardin, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and brother Larry Horner.
