Mrs. Marguerite Wych

Marguerite Wych, 86, of Garden Prairie, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Swedish American Hospital. Born Dec. 6, 1923 to William Cochran and Marjorie Bell (Wilcox) Fleming, Sr. in Coral Township. Married Kenneth George Wych in 1947. He passed away in 1981.
Marguerite graduated from Marengo High School, was an active member of the Garden Prairie United Church of Christ and her community. Marguerite was a home maker, loving mother and devoted grandmother. She worked at Kearney’s County Store in Garden Prairie and at Parson’s in Belvidere.
Survived by daughters Sharon Reynolds of Belvidere, Kathy (Butch) Wesemann of Marengo, Cindy (Kevin) Carroll of Poplar Grove, daughter-in-law Judy Anderson of Belvidere; sons Kenneth James (Jill Johnson) Wych of Sharon, WI, Dale Wych of Garden Prairie; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sister Doris (Branson) Lawrence of Oxford, WI., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents, son David Sanders, and grandson Kenneth Jeremy Wych; sisters Marjorie Shouse, Lota Mae Anderson, Helen Mills, Kathryn Fitch; brothers Allen Eugene Fleming and William Cochran Fleming, Jr.

Funeral Information

Memorial service will be 5:30 pm, Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Garden Prairie United Church of Christ with visitation from 4 pm until time of service. Rev. Dale Beaman will officiate. There will be a private family burial at a later date. Arrangements completed by Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere.
